What you will do

Our management consulting teams are based remotely. Currently, travel is restricted to essential client meetings. Cities listed are examples but most locations are acceptable.  

 

As a Manager in our global delivery team you will lead programs, set strategic direction for our engagements and align resources to delight our clients. You will utilize your love for critical thinking, sourcing and supplier management to partner with our clients to drive tangible results. 

 

You'll be part of GEP’s top-rated Global Delivery Consulting Group and contribute to our goal to build long-term relationships both at our clients and across our GEP family while we continue to expand and enjoy success in various verticals. You will act as an advisor while creating a successful team culture and coaching others.

What you will do:

  • Lead client engagements and coach teams while you contribute to the development and execution of procurement strategies including but not limited to: strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management and procurement transformation 
  • Creatively utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
  • Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives 
  • Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with Fortune clients 
  • Identify and support efforts to expand the scope of current project by leveraging existing relationships

What you should bring

A minimum of five years of success partnering with clients as a management consultant OR leadership experience in a procurement role. You bring examples of success stories relating to internal consulting initiatives to drive best practies in  strategic sourcing,spend analysis, supplier relationship management and digital transformation. 

  • Demonstrated project leadership skills combined with outstanding client management and presentation skills; a desire and ability to autonomously create effective outcomes 
  • Proven experience leading successful procurement transformation, digital transformation, supplier development, risk management, category management and RFx development and execution
  • Natural ability to build rapport and create delightful client experiences 
  • Committment to identifying and driving business process improvements 
  • Passion for driving team engagement and mentorship activities 
  • Adaptability and resilience when adjusting to changes in deliverables or timelines
  • Well-developed PPT presentation skills with an ability to forward-think and provide relevant data 
  • Indirects category experience preferred but not required 
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus
  • Strong Excel required, methodologies such as Six Sigma, TQM or other industry certifications a plus
