What you will do

As a Manager- Consulting, you will lead Suppy chain- oriented programs as we partner with some of the world's top companies. You will set strategic direction for our engagements and align resources to delight our clients. This role will utilize your love for critical thinking, sourcing and supplier management to partner with our clients to drive tangible results. 

 

You'll be part of GEP’s Global Delivery Consulting Group and be part of building long-term relationships both at our clients and across our GEP family while we continue to expand and enjoy success in various verticals. You will act as an advisor while creating a successful team culture and coaching others while partnering with talented team members on best practices.

What you will do:

  • Lead client engagements and coach teams while you contribute to the development and execution of strategies that define as a leader in supply chain consulting
  • Creatively utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses
  • Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation, etc.)
  • Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with Fortune clients 
  • Identify new business opportunities and support efforts to expand the scope of current project by leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and contributing to business development efforts 

What you should bring

  • A minimum of five years of success partnering with clients as a management consultant OR a combination of consultancy and procurement industry sourcing accomplishments relating to Supply Chain transformation, operational efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • Manufacturing, demand planning, supply planning experience including Manufacturing operations/shop floor a major plus  
  • Thorough understanding of the supply market, main suppliers and industry trends, drivers and levers 
  • Knowledge of contract terms and conditions including performance management, SLA's and continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to identify cost reduction opportunities across categories.
  • Excelllent verbal, written communication and presentation skills for internal and external client facing
  • Situational leadership skills and experience building trusting relationships 
  • Expertise in building stakeholder networks, influencing business stakeholders and creating delightful client experiences 
  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus
  • Willingness to travel to client sites weekly when safe to do so
  • Knowledge and ability to apply Data Modeling and business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a PLUS; strong Excel skills, exposure to relevant software a plus
