What you will do

As a Consulting Manager, you will lead programs, set strategic direction for our engagements and align resources to delight our clients. You will utilize your love for critical thinking, sourcing and supplier management to partner with our clients to drive tangible results. 

 

You'll be part of GEP’s Global Delivery Consulting Group and be part of our goal to build relationships both at our clients and across our GEP family while we continue to expand and enjoy success in various verticals. You will act as an advisor while creating a successful team culture and coaching others.

What you will do:

·       Lead client engagements and contribute to the development and execution of the global strategy for strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management and procurement transformation

·       Creatively utilize data sources to develop fact-based recommendations and complex analyses

·       Develop sound recommendations to contribute to program objectives (cost savings, SLAs, Transformation, etc.)

·       Deliver presentations and communicate confidently with the client; coach team members

·       Identify new business opportunities and support the Program Manager in efforts to expand the scope of current project by leveraging existing relationships with C-level executives and contributing to business development efforts

What you should bring

·       A minimum of five years of success partnering with clients as a management consultant OR a combination of consultancy and procurement industry experience including some exposure to dynamic processes like strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier relationship management and Source to pay/Procure to pay processes. 

·       BA/BS Degree required, MBA from an accredited college/university a plus

·       Demonstrated leadership ability and outstanding client management/presentation skills combined with a desire and ability autonomously create effective outcomes

·       Strong experience is preferred in some of the following areas: procurement transformation, digital transformation, supplier development, risk management, category management and RFx development and execution including but not limited to Marketing, Information Technology, Professional Services, Facilities, Capital, HR and MRO are a major plus

·       Proven ability in building rapport and creating delightful client experience

·       Ability to travel to client sites weekly

·       Knowledge of business process improvement methodologies such as TQM, Six Sigma, APEX etc., a PLUS; strong Excel, exposure to relevant software a plus
