What you will do

You will have a unique opportunity to start your Paralegal profession with a full-time paid paralegal internship supporting the GEP Global Contracts Team.

 

Our internship program will provide the entry-level paralegal intern with meaningful hands-on work opportunities, training, mentoring, interaction with company leaders and development resources in a hybrid work environment.

 

  • Gain document management experience while supporting the paralegal team with manually executing global documents worldwide and assist in the maintenance of physical and electronic files
  • Assist in various archiving projects 
  • Auditing of physical and electronic files to ensure complete records
  • Under paralegal supervision, assist in the preparing and completion of corporate documents and additional corporate projects
  • Admin work such as scanning, printing, copying, and preparing packages for mailing

 

What you should bring

  • Current student or recent graduate from ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program Completion of legal writing and contracts courses is helpful for this position. D.s or law school students need not apply.
  • Applicants are required to be eligible to lawfully work in the U.S. immediately; employer will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work opportunity
  • Basic MS Office capabilities: Word and Excel, knowledge in Outlook or Teams is helpful, but can be trained
  • Be able to demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality
  • Eagerness, self-motivated and commitment to on-going learning and training, have strong organization skills and the ability to use your analytical skills
  • Willing to work under the direction of others, willingness to review high volume number of documents and ability to manage work with detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Commitment to being punctual, have good attendance and reporting to the worksite a minimum of two days a week or more, depending on business needs/requirements
  • Must have a reliable home internet connection
