What you will do

You’ll have a unique opportunity to launch your paralegal career with a full-time, paid internship supporting GEP’s Global Contracts Team. This 6-month hybrid internship will provide hands-on legal experience, structured mentorship, and exposure to global legal operations—all while working from our Clark, NJ headquarters 3 days per week.

As a Paralegal Intern, you’ll:

  • Support the team by manually executing global documents and maintaining both physical and electronic legal files
  • Assist with archiving projects and audit file completeness
  • Help prepare and complete corporate documents under paralegal supervision
  • Contribute to various corporate legal projects
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scanning, printing, copying, and preparing mail packages

What you should bring

  • Current student or recent graduate from an ABA-approved Paralegal Studies program
  • Completion of legal writing and/or contract law coursework is helpful
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of confidentiality
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work onsite at least 2 days per week (may vary based on business needs)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Outlook and Teams is a plus (but can be trained)
  • Eagerness to learn, strong organization skills, and the ability to manage high volumes of documents with accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A reliable home internet connection for hybrid work
