You will have a unique opportunity to start your Paralegal profession with a full-time paid paralegal internship supporting the GEP Global Contracts Team.   During your internship, you will gain experience in contract management and the process of executing important contracts (vendor, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA), commercial/revenue contracts and Requests for Proposal) for the company. You will learn how the parent company manages the contracting process and retention of its documents for itself and its many subsidiaries worldwide. Our internship program will provide the entry-level paralegal intern with meaningful hands-on work opportunities, training, mentoring, interaction with company leaders and development resources in a hybrid work environment.   Work performed in office, under the guidance of the Senior Paralegal, will include: - Receiving software training in SharePoint and DocuSign (and other necessary programs) - Providing support to the senior paralegal and attorneys with contracts and business documents via manually or via electronic signatures and maintaining a variety of physical and electronic files - Providing paralegal support by drafting email reminders for outstanding contracts - Occasional admin work such as scanning, printing, copying, and preparing FedEx packages - Review of high volume of contracts/documents in preparation of our contract archival process to comply with our company retention policy   Work performed at home, under the guidance of the Senior Paralegal will include: - Gaining additional document management experience via SharePoint to maintain our digitized centralized contract repository - Assisting in the execution of contracts via DocuSign - Assisting with sending out contract reminders - Utilizing organizational and time management skills to meet priorities and deadlines
